Creating and Publishing an Event

Understanding Event Statuses

Updated over 8 months ago

When you create an event, it will progress through different statuses, each affecting its visibility and functionality.

  • Draft: Your event starts in "Draft" mode. This means it's a work in progress, not visible to the public, and tickets cannot be sold. You can preview your event at any time by clicking the preview link usually found near the "Publish" button.

  • Published: Once your event is "Published," it becomes live and accessible to the public. Tickets are now available for sale, and attendees can view all the event details.

  • Cancelled: If an event needs to be called off, you can set its status to "Cancelled." The event will still be visible on the platform, but ticket sales will be disabled, and a "Cancelled" notice will be displayed to inform potential attendees.

You can change your event's status at any time from the Settings page of your event.
