What Are Sessions

Sessions allow you to create a single event with multiple occurrences or time slots. This feature is perfect for recurring events and events with multiple dates or times, enabling attendees to easily choose their preferred date and time without the need for separate event listings.

How to create sessions

When creating an event, just below the date setting you can select click the Recurring Event button.

Or, if you've already created your event, go to the Edit Event page -> Recurring Event

Once you click the Recurring Event button, the new menu will open for you to create your time slots. There are two ways to adding recurring events in this menu:

  • Add Single Session: This lets you manually create a session based on the date and time. If you want to create more session just change the date and time and click add. You'll see the added sessions on the right

  • Add Repeating Sessions: This lets you automatically create repeating sessions based on the settings below. This lets you easily having a repeating event every week on Friday and Saturday for example. Click add and you'll see the sessions added to the right.

Once you added all the sessions you want, click the Save button at the bottom right.

What Attendees See

On the event page, attendees will be able to select their session when ordering their tickets.

Managing Sessions

From the top of your screen when managing an event, you can select a session to view that event's specific details. Such as on the order page, a selected session will only show that session's orders.

Session Tickets

You can create session tickets to have different ticket settings for a specific session. This way you can set different closing dates or different limits on a per session basis.

Location: Ticket page -> Ticket Settings -> Select Session

When editing a session ticket, you can adjust settings that apply only to that specific session. This includes changing the ticket quantity, hiding the ticket from public view, or setting a specific date for when the ticket becomes available.

After having a ticket with unique settings for a session, you are able to visualize all your tickets for each session by clicking View session tickets in the ticket actions menu.
